Design Choices

My original design choices for the graphics included: incorporating the logo and brand color palette and typography, including all necessary event information, and sourcing and creating background images that display the key tenets of the organization: its global reach, with students taking the training from around the world, the diversity of the student pool, and the concept of interconnectedness. Collective Resilience offers both Foundational and Intermediate trainings, and, visually, I wanted there to be a clear similarity between the two Foundational trainings and the two Intermediate trainings.

In my next iteration, I realized that I did not account for accessibility in the design itself when it came to WebAim Contrast Checker standards. After learning about accessibility considerations such as that in my UX Design program, I updated the next iteration of graphics to have variants of the original brand color palette that passed the WebAIM standards.
